Morris House Hotel

My husband and I stayed here with another couple as we were attending a party in the city. All 4 of us absolutely loved it. Yes...It is a little quirky, and the water pressure is a little weak. But the house is so charming - the breakfast room is precious and there is always coffee and tea available. Our mini-suites were both very comfortable. The staff made us feel right at home. We loved everything about it.

It was exactly as expected

This charming boutique hotel exceeded every one of our expectations. It is a mansion built in 1787 by two brothers. It is well appointed and immaculately clean. Continental breakfast includes the world’s best crumb cake. Afternoons tea includes freshly baked cookies. Jerry has the best stories about the hotel’s history. We loved everything about this gem.

This well-kept 17-room boutique hotel exudes charm. You feel like you’re staying with the brothers who built this as their home in 1787. A HUGE thank you to Jerry for the detailed history on the home, the family and ancestors. You’d make a fantastic museum docent.

בית עתיק מהמאה ה-19 שהפך להיות מלון בוטיק מקסים. למי שמחפש מלון קצת אחר עם אווירה של פעם ובמיקום מעולה.

הרכבת התחתית עוברת ממש מתחת למלון וכתוצאה מכך יש לעיתים רעשים חזקים. באופן כללי האקוסטיקה קצת בעייתית החדר אינו אטום לרעשים.

Интересно было переночевать в спальне старинного особняка. Очень уютный двор с шатром и столиками, куда можно выйти позавтракать. После завтрака хотели убрать за собой посуду, но не смогли догадаться,что маленький столик с накрытым белоснежной скатертью подносом предназначен для грязной посуды :) Совет в ванной иметь ввиду, что на стирку махрового полотенца, которое мы используем лишь однажды, будет потрачено очень много воды.
