Just stayed for a night before heading to La Penita, only picked this place because it’s dog friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy, no coffee available in the morning had to walk about 4 blocks to an Oxxo. It looks like it once was a nice hotel and probably will be again as they seem to be upgrading the pool and rooms. In the day there’s a food court next door, and apparently the hotel restaurant does open at some point but not for early coffee. We will stay on our return, so now we know what to expect!

It is dog friendly. It is close to shops I use.

The price was way higher than Booking.com quoted me. The staff didn’t know what was happening next door and told us to go elsewhere for dinner as food court wasn’t open. It was and is far better than where they suggested.

The staff were friendly but the room was very basic for the price. Air conditioner didn’t work properly, wifi wasn’t working, pool was under construction, restaurant only available until 2pm, no ice machine in the hotel or fridge in the room, no cups in the room, no face cloths or hand towels.

They were unable to give me a refund after finding a massive roach in a dirty room. They tried to tell me I can upgrade but I would have to pay more! Terrible experience! I took a loss and left. Do not stay here!
