Stone Mill Hotel & Suites

I like the fact that you could still see the architecture in the old mill on the inside. The thick stone walls and beamed ceilings are so impressive. We had one of the loft rooms and loved the roominess. We are planning to go back again. The owners and staff will do anything to meet your needs.

Over all a very good stay. Very nice towels, hot tub works well, staff came to thevroom and explaing how the electronics worked. Breakfast included Danishes from a local bakery. I rated it a 3 for comfort because the bed in our room, the Egg suite, was way TOO FIRM. It was in good condition but was very, very hard and uncomfortable. I cant speak for any other suites.

Beautiful place, efficient check in. We just stumbled upon this place, lucky to get a room for a night with fall colors going on. Wish we could’ve stayed another night but they’re full. Next year we’ll reserve well in advance. Such a pretty place.

This is a charming place to stay, right on the edge of the Can Street in lovely historic Lanesboro. Each room in this renovated feed mill has a different theme. Easy access to anything you might want to do here.

I liked that something beautiful and useful was made from such an old structure. It is a restored piece of history in a beautiful setting. I am fussy about my pillows and I thought they seemed a little flat.

I would give the staff at least 7 stars. The desk clerk called me before my arrival to clarify my room request and left me a kind note to call her when I arrived because it was after the office had closed. Charming place!

Very unique property in an old stone mill. 13 themed rooms. Small continental breakfast-toast, juice, pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Lanesboro is such a quaint beautiful town!
