Remarkable location on the water, easy access to piers and miles of waterfront paths. Deck area and staff are wonderful. Rooms beautiful.

Great location- great views

Quite pricey and next to a busy train line

I was very curious about this hotel since it's part of the Hilton Curio Collection. Unfortunately, I don't think it lives up to the brand name. Yes, the rooms have fireplaces, giant soaking tubs, and a quiet waterfront view. Other than that, the rest of the room, the check-in experience, dining/food, is all a very generic Hilton experience. Which is fine. Just not Curio standards in my opinion.

It was a beautiful hotel right on the water. We asked for an early check in as we were attending a wedding and they were able to accommodate us.

The staff was not very friendly. We were going to have lunch in the restaurant and they seated our group of 5 and we sat there for over 20 minutes and no one came to wait us. We got up and left. The parking garage is not meant for large vehicles. Very limited street parking. It is right by the train tracks so very loud. They do provide earplugs but we didn’t notice them until the next day.

Our experience at the Chrysalis was the highlight of our week-long Washington trip. There was a small snafu at check-in, as they accidentally cancelled our reservation just prior to our arrival, but it was quickly rectified, and the staff was great. It's a charming boutique hotel in a great location with a few minutes walk to Fairhaven. Our water view suite was the perfect space, and we loved going for a walk on the boardwalk in the morning. Yes, there is a train that passes close to the hotel a few times during the night, and yes, it can be a bit loud. The hotel provides earplugs by the bed, but we didn't use them and didn't find it terribly disruptive.
