Colosseum Hotel

I had an amazing stay at the Colosseum Luxury Hotel, Cape Town. To start with, the location of the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions, like the CCCC (Century City Convention Center); just 3 min walk and you are there. Lots of restaurants and attractions are around you. The view I had from my room (Executive Suite with Balcony) was amazing, with Table Mountain right in front of me. The whole staff (without exception) is amazing, friendly, always smiling, and goes out of their way to help you. When you are at the Colosseum hotel, you feel at home. The rooms were clean, and the entourage is quiet if your room is not right on the street side. even though, with the nature of the city, it's rare that you find people out there partying late at night during weekdays, so the location is in general quiet and peaceful, and safe which is very important. as for the value, the offer we had had an excellent value for our money, relative to the size of the rooms and location of the hotel, and on top of that, if you register to the newsletter of the hotel, you will get yet an additional 10% on the room rate, which is the cherry on top of the cake (the room rate already was very reasonable compared ot other hotels in the same vicinity). During our stay, due to the cold and windy weather, the hotel provided us with a complimentary bus ride from the hotel to the CCCC in the morning just to guarantee our comfort and well-being. This is something that I highly appreciate, and the fact that the hotel suggested this without us even asking shows how the staff treats their guests as if they are family. Finally, on our Check out, our flight was at 7 pm, and we had a long business day, so for us to freshen up and to store our luggage, since we were a group of 8 visiting for business, the hotel suggested to provide us with a 2 bedroom Suite where our luggage was stored safely, and the room was provided to us on complimentary basis to freshen up before our flight back home. If you prefer to keep your room for extra time after check out, then the hotel can provide you with a service where you can keep your room and just pay a reasonable fee per hour (surely per availability of the room). But don't worry, the staff will always try to find a solution for you, even if the hotel is booked and your room is not available anymore. I am saying that as per my own experience, as I have mentioned above. My only concern was that my stay was very short and only for business, but when I come back to Cape Town, then I will definitely stay here again. Dinner at the hotel was great. Room was comfortable. Only complaint was that I was unable to turn on the bathroom lights in the am and had to shower in a semi-dark shower stall.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again."

The staff were amazing especially the ones at the reception desk. I loved my room, it was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, the hot water was great and I loved the bath tub!!!! The shopping mall was a walking distance and the shops therein were amazing. The location was very secure and we felt safe.

Nothing, everything was really great. I will definitely stay there again.
