Ariha Hotel

Questo hotel e' situato a poca distanza dall'Universita' della Calabria alla quale mi sono recato per partecipare ad un convegno! L'ho scelto su Hotel.com in base alle descrizioni contenute nel sito e devo dire che erano corrispondenti e, con mia grande sorpresa, in quello stesso hotel alloggiavano i relatori del congresso. Ho occupato una stanza singola ma era ampia e dotata di letto matrimoniale. Ho trovato set di cortesia, cassaforte, frigobar, wifi. Colazione abbondante e varia con alcuni prodotti locali nel campo del salato (formaggi, salame etccc.). Presenza di ristorante dove fare un'ottima cena ma comunque subito di fronte l'hotel locali come Rosso Pomodoro, Old Wild West. In conclusione struttura curata ed affidabile con sale riunioni e meeting

Well the style of the place is not my cup of tea but that is always a matter of opinion. I imagine some would call it beautiful, I call it “Chintzy Moderne”. What was beautiful was the breakfast with mountains of delicious freshly cut fruit presumably ripened in the Calabrian sun (maybe not the pineapple) and a selection of delightful cheese. Our Italian friends do not do bacon and eggs too well. They try bless them but it is not their forte. The cured meats however were good and of course there was a wide selection of tasty pastries – the croissants even had their own warmer. The automatic coffee maker produced a good coffee. The front office people are courteous, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable with unusually peculiar angles.

Albergo pulito. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Lo consiglio.

Arrivato per soggiorno di lavoro alle due di notte ma non ho avuto problemi alla reception. Ottimo Hotel con stanze ampie e bel bagno con doccia spettacolare. Il servizio frigo in stanza era gratuito (bottiglie d'acqua e pacchettino di pane locale in caso di fame notturna). Unica piccola pecca: la televisione (vista per poco vista l'ora) affermava di avere i canali sky che però non sono riuscito a trovare. Non sarebbe stato male avere qualche informazione in più a proposito (erano a pagamento?). Ottima anche la colazione.

The pool is beautiful, but is available for the public to pay and use. It was often very crowded with teenagers. They also had private functions and hotel guests were not had allowed to use the pool. The staff was very helpful...I don't speak Italian and was travelling with my daughter and one year old granddaughter.

I was in transit using busses. Very confusing to say the least, but the staff were very helpful in sorting it out. The breakfast was very good.

Personale cortese e preparato ottima colazione qualità prezzo molto superiore ad altri hotel di zona più blasonati

Il posto è molto buono, ma la struttura è un po trasandata. Necessita un rinnovamento.
