Rogers Inn

The absolute nastiest place to stay. Hole a In the fueniture , holes in the wall, dirty . Inpaid $90.00 and I would have slept in my car except the area was very sketchy as well. Worst stay ever. Save your money.

First off, the person at the front desk couldn't find the reservation. It was after midnight. We had a reservation # from Booking.com and they STILL couldn't pull it up. She goes and gets another manager and my husband comes out to get me. We're all standing around for another 10 minutes while the manager looks us up. Finally he finds us. It's after midnight, we're tired, we just want to crash. We drive around to the room on the back side of the building. Get into our room, into pajamas, pull back the covers and OMG there's an enormous spider just making himself at home under the covers. I'm talking bigger than half-dollar sized. My husband kills the thing, we strip the bed to check for more roommates. We finally get to sleep, no covers on in fear of more spiders, and wake up at the butt-crack of dawn to someone setting off car alarms with their loud music. There were some sketchy people on the backside of the building after midnight. I would not walk out there alone. The people at the front desk severely lack customer service skills. We almost walked out, asked for a refund, and slept in our car. The only positive note I have is that the window AC unit was ICE COLD, which made sleeping a little more bearable.

The rooms here are ok for $50 a night, but the other people staying here are definitely questionable. Saw a black guy who looked like a thug beating up his Mexican girl friend or maybe he was the pimp and she was one of his "girls" at 1:30am. Myself and several others stepped out to see what was going on. That's when he left. Came back the next night and parked his car right across form the girls room and played loud music while he smoked and sat on his hood. Again 1:30 or so in the morning. More fighting and screaming until we all came out and he drive off after cussing all of us out. Never again will I stay here.

Advertised as only two left gives the impression of a high occupancy. There are two buildings, one was not in use. I left at six am, the motel was less than half full ? I paid 15 $ over every day prices because of expected scarcity of rooms. Was I taken by the motel or Expedia ?

The room we stayed in was not really clean. Pictures are fake in this ad. Towels was dirty. No TP in bathroom. Smelled moldy. TV was snowy. Fridge only worked when you wiggled the plug just right. Not worth the money.

the pictures you see made by professionals must have been done over 50 years ago. I tried to not stay here, but I had made reservations online, based on the photos THEY had. when we got there, all we could see was trash, garbage, the smell was aweful. So we asked if we could drop the reservation. We were told that they (the clerks) couldnt, that we would have to go on line and cancel. My husband did as directed, and his credit card was charged 132.00 for two nights, plus a 100.00 hold for other.. things. he only had 250 on the card so now we had no money, and had to stay in this sorry excuse for a hotel motel. I have asthma, I struggled to breathe. we tried to get the 100 dollar hold taken off, and were told they couldnt do it there, it had to be done at corporate headquarters, of which we were not allowed to have the name or number. then we were told we would get the 100 back if nothing was missing in our room.. who knows what was even in the room other than dirt and dust! someone please tell me where I can call to fix this.

Wow! Creepy and scary doesn't even begin to describe our experience as we arrived at the Rogers Inn (now known as America's Best Inn). The First thing I noticed on our way to room 230 (which is on the back side facing away from the street) was vomit in the middle of the outdoor walkway, litter lined the sidewalk in front of the outdoor Motel Rooms, (used plastic cups, cigarette nuts, foreign sticky substances) trash was shoved underneath the heating and cooling units of each room, The paint was old and chipped with greasy handprints smudged on the inside and out. This place looked really sketchy and it was only 1 PM in the afternoon Upon entering the rooms, we saw various stains of unknown origin on the furniture, cloth chairs were missing legs and leaning sideways, cigarette burns on the refrigerator and microwave units were they had been placed in burned out. On the bright side...the carpet had recently been replaced and the smell of the glue used to lay it still hung in the air. The trim around the walls with coming off and there's a huge gap in the door where insects and other questionable things could enter the premises. Lampshades were broken and were missing knobs to turn them on and off, the tub with missing stopper and green with lime corrosion, there were dirty towels hung up in the bathroom with makeup foundation smeared on them. When I pulled back the comforter, there was only 2 flat sheets and a waterproof pad beneath!!! YUCK!!! When we went to the office and requested to move to an updated room, it only made a tiny, little bit of a difference , they had newer bedspreads on... Yes, bedspreads and not comforters with duvet covers. We didn't see any holes in the wall and the lampshades were broken, but other than that it was pretty much the same. Also, it's worth mentioning that The pool, or slim pit, looked like it hadn't been used in quite a long time...years probably. The pictures depicting the motel on the Internet were very deceptive, completely false and inaccurate. They must've pulled those old photos out from then70's when the old Rogers Inn was in her prime! So, if you can...Run...don't walk, There are other cheap but high-quality (clean) motels or hotels to visit, just not this one.

Molded shower curtain, gross potbellied attendant that spoke little English, dirty looking sheets that would not stay on the bed, and more gory details. I would never stay there again. I took care to wear flip flops on the carpet and in the shower. It was by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Makes Motel 6 look like a castle!

There are much, much nicer places to stay for the same price. This hotel is located across the street from a trashy trailer park; the back of the hotel is fenced in with razor wire. The online pictures look nothing like the actual rooms. There were cracks in the ceiling, white goo on the carpet, the room was dingy, and there were no extra outlets for phone chargers. The front desk managers were very abrupt. The slide card for the door was difficult to operate and took several tries to unlock each time we exited the room. I won't be staying here again.
