De tuin en het uitzicht op de Lion Rock

Weinig faciliteiten (geen handdoeken, koelkast deed het niet, geen tandenborstel, geen lepels, de usb-schakelaar deed het niet, geen tv), zwembadwater vol met beestjes, de wasbak lekte, geen lift in het gebouw waardoor we zelf onze koffers via de trap naar beneden moest sjouwen

The absolute highlight of this property is the view. Looking out over the lush green rice paddies toward the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock—especially at sunset from the pool or a top-floor balcony—is stunning.

The hotel is located down a quieter side road (Wela Mada Road). While this makes it wonderfully peaceful during the day, it gets pitch dark at night. If you're heading back late, it’s best to take a quick tuk-tuktuk rather than walking it solo.

The location was so quiet and it had a beautiful view. Staff were amazing and so helpful and the breakfast was good.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The owner was amazing he is so friendly and always arranged things for us. He even dropped us to the Lion's rock himself at 6am instead of getting a taxi. He goes above and beyond for his guests and is so helpful. Roxy the dog there is also so friendly and I loved greeting her everytime we passed.

The food was not the best but I understand it is also off season right now but we ordered chicken sandwiches from the owner and then when we sat down the chef said the chicken was frozen so we couldn't have it. Then we ordered egg sandwiches but it came with onions. There wasn't a great selection and the location it was very dangerous to go out at night because of elephants so we were stuck at times with no good food options. Other then that it was amazing
