Woodrow House Bed & Breakfast

Very comfortable, home atmosphere. Friendly host and staff.

Plenty of road noise from 19th street in rooms facing that street. This is due to the single pane windows. Host provided foam ear plugs. Property needs to install double pane windows and blow in sound absorbing wall insulation. I had the same problem with noise at one of our homes and better windows and insulation solved the problem and reduced our AC bill by 20%.

This B&B is right across the street from Texas Tech. They had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. It was a treat to stay here.

There is road noise. No getting around it. Ear plugs were provided.

Road noise is a little loud.

We were in town for my son’s orientation at Tech, so I loved that this was right across the street. The people there were so kind and welcoming. Even though we are both OU alumni, we stayed in their Tech alumni room to show love to our son’s college choice. The room was beautifully decorated. This was our first stay at a bead and breakfast and we really enjoyed the experience.

The beds were a bit firm for us. We both like pretty soft beds.

Super friendly accommodations!

My room was very warm each night and hot water wasn’t always available.

Dawn and her husband were welcoming and friendly. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Great location and other guests were interesting to speak with.

Staff were lovely. Free parking in a safe area. Free snacks available were a lovely touch. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable.

The road noise was very loud at night time. There seemed to be no A/C just a fan on the roof. The shower was a bit small! Fine for a body shower but not to wash your hair! We only stayed the 1night so it didnt bother us too much.
