Nice to stay somewhere homey after 3 weeks on the road in cookie cutter hotels. Our host was warm and welcoming and she cooked us an amazing breakfast.

"Great place to stay in Lubbock"

Breakfast was definitely a highlight. The food was homemade and delicious. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and it was very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great for a visit to Texas Tech.

"An Old Time Stay as close to Tech as you can get."

This oid school bed and breakfast reminds me of everything an Inn could be before Airbnb depersonalized hospitality in the name of progress. Incredibly comfortable bed. Wonderful clawfoot tub. Warm and sleek bedding. Lots of personal touches -- my room had Buddy Holly memorabilia signed by original band members and the real Peggy Sue. Breakfast was also delightful, two courses with live jazz played by the owners father-in-law. He used to play for the Sentimental Journey orchestra and he's still got it. We had a great time talking with him after breakfast. If you are looking for generic, keep looking. But if you want someplace with real heart, this is it.

They provide earplugs due to the nearby university Boise. I sleep with them anyway, but it's worth noting for those sensitive to noise.
