Villa Athena Resort

I am sitting at the pool remembering the amazing dinner we had with Govanni in the garden with an amazing view of the Temples. I highly recommend the entire garden dining experience. The food was outstanding, the chef was primo and Govanni completed the experience with his loving charm. The most beautiful music served as a backdrop to a perfect evening. Highly recommended!! Additionally, Alessandro is the most attentive and accommodating concierge we have had in Sicily. He has a magical ability to anticipate your every desire.

A beautiful hotel - room, garden, pool, spa & restaurant..

Our stay at the Villa Athena Resort was spectacular. It stands out as a highlight on our multi-town exploration of Sicily. This 5-star resort sit inside the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Archaeological Park of the Valley of the Temples and offers breathtaking views of the Concordia Temple. We dined at the resort's restaurant the first night, enjoying the freshest fish and superb service while watching the Concordia Temple change colors as it was lit up against the night sky. The following morning, we purchased our tickets at the front desk and were escorted from our hotel to the gate entering the park -- it was that easy! We spent the entire day exploring these fascinating ruins, set amidst olive and almond groves. By the way, the Villa Athena Resort also has its own lush garden; the produce is used in their freshly-prepared foods. Special thanks to Alessandro, who went over and beyond to make our stay so wonderful.

3 fantastic days in this beautiful hotel. Staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive throughout. The room (classic) was luxurious and well equipped with a balcony. The terrace restaurant was exceptional and atmospheric, the Sicily tasting experience in the kitchen garden was very enjoyable. Our massage at the spa was bliss and time by and in the outdoor pool awesome. And the location...wow! Didn't want to leave, a brilliant way to spend our wedding anniversary.

Giovani and Vincinzo were amazing. Everything was perfect. The wine! The food! The music! Perfecto!

Charming hotel with a private direct entrance to the ruins. The hotel is set iin a garden with a nice pool area, everything facing the Concordia Temple. We had a suite consisting of an average sized living and bedroom, a small closet, a terrace and a modern bathroom. They offer 3 terraces for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All very nice and with excellent menú and food. AC works well. WIFI could be more stable outside. Staff is very atentive. The best hotel in the área.

The location was amazing with the view of the temple, the hotel in itself was fantastic, big room, lots of amenities, very clean and the staff was helpful and very nice. The swimming pool was also beautiful, clean and relaxing and the breakfast was incredible. Overall, our stay was great and I would definitely recommend it. We didn’t stay long so we couldn’t try everything, but there are different restaurants and activities being organized during the day.

The location to explore the Valley of the Temples is unique and second to none. Breakfast is especially delicious and, like all the reviews say, their yogurt is some of the best ever tasted.
