We only stayed for one night, but our experience left us very disappointed. This is not about the $15 fee itself. It is about how guests are treated and the lack of transparency. When we checked in, the front desk explained that we could be charged if anything in the room was damaged, but they never mentioned a mandatory service fee. The next morning, I was surprised to see the charge on my receipt. Had this fee been disclosed at check-in, I would have addressed it immediately. Instead, it appeared after our stay, which felt unfair and misleading. When I asked for a refund, I was told they could not refund it. I disagree with that decision because guests should not be charged fees that were never clearly explained to them. Good customer service starts with honesty and clear communication. If a hotel is going to charge additional fees, guests deserve to know about them before they stay, not after. I want future guests to be aware of this before booking. Make sure to ask about any extra fees at check-in so you do not face the same surprise. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression, and I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled.
