Timeless Inn

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans cette magnifique maison d'hôte ! Rose nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et nous avons passé des heures à échanger. Nous avons eu l'occasion de partir une journée avec son mari pour découvrir les villages alentours, hors des sentiers battus. Grâce à lui, nous avons pu en découvrir plus sur la culture tibétaine. Le logement est très bien situé, juste à l'entrée de la vieille ville dans une rue au calme. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons et copieux. Nous n'avons absolument manqués de rien. Merci pour cette belle parenthèse, nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir.

Un accueil tellement sympathique, on se sentait à la maison. Rose parle très bien anglais et toujours prête à vous aider. Tout près du centre animé, mais très calme. La maison ancienne est pleine de charme

Good location within the old town. About 15metres from the road (near the fire station) where your car can stop you. Friendly staff with a great breakfast made by the host herself. Rather big room with very interesting ethnic decor.

We couldn't figure out the heater for the shower initially - turns out that "hot" is on the right instead of left where it usually is.

Rose has created a very traditional Tibetan guesthouse in Shangri-La. We had two rooms and everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and the breakfast was tasty. Set within the Old Town, what is great is that the hotel is just 1 minute walk from the gate, meaning that you don't have to drag your case through cobbled streets for miles on end. If you want somewhere that is traditional but with home comforts, then don't look any further. Rose also speaks English which is super helpful in making trip arrangements or getting some advice and guidance on where to go and what to do. If this is your first time in China, this isn't that common.

Nothing. The only recommendation is to let it be known when booking if steep stairs are an issue for you. Some rooms are on the second floor and the stairs are very steep.

What a great place. Rose speaks very good English and is so helpful. Room was comfortable and warm with both electric heater and electric blanket if required. Quiet location just within old town so excellent location

Be aware that location on Google maps shows the wrong road - close but not exact.

A small hotel managed by Rose - a very nice lady who speaks very good English. Location is perfect - 2 minutes walk from the main old town square, 2 minutes from the road, and yet very quiet. The rooms are very nicely decorated in Tibetan style, and are very spacious but have only a very small window facing the courtyard. Breakfast is western and pretty good. Overall it's a nice place and we liked it.

The bed is not super comfortable. Water gets warm in 2 minutes - they are hot enough to take a shower but not super hot, and the pressure is pretty low. However these are pretty minor, we liked it.

Un magnifique séjour chez Rose. Tout était parfait : les chambres sont joliment décorées, le petit déjeuner est très bon et le coin près du poêle est très chaleureux. Elle nous a aidé pour réserver une excursion et nous a gentimennt gardé nos affaires pédant quelques jours. Elle parle parfaitement et ça a été un plaisir d'échanger avec elle sur une multitude de sujets. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis comme chez nous.

L'hôte est vraiment sympathique et arrangeante. L'hôtel est très bien situé et authentique.
