The staff was all very nice. I liked the furniture and decor in general. The breakfast was great- filled us up.

There was an area at the top of the shutter blinds that never closed and brought too much light into the room at night.

Got married at a sister property and stayed at the Montvale. Staff was beyond helpful, and upon check-in even helped me take my cart to my room and carried my heavy items!! The room was a beautiful loft, and had every amenity i could ask for! We decided to have my photographer take our wedding pictures there and they were beautiful! Its a great place to have pictures done with all the brick walls and the vintage furniture!! We were very happy!

We love the location to all of the downtown restaurants and venues. The charm of the hotel can’t be beat.

The air conditioning in the rooms is not the most efficient but still comfortable.

We spent Wednesday night at the Montvale. The young lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. She explained everything, including parking, coffee availability and location, and the breakfast plan. Have stayed before but it's been awhile. Yes, it's a really old hotel and part of the charm is creaky floors and rather thin walls. We had no trouble with noise. Room was spotless as was everything about the premises. Breakfast was 1/2 block away and really worth it. Don't miss this opportunity!!
