Great service and positive customer attitude by owners. Room was small and lacked any closet space.

This is a small charming historic hotel in Groveland owned and run by a local couple who are very helpful, super welcoming, and personable. Each room is a little different - quaint and much more fun than a boring hotel. The cozy lobby has a fridge for guests, a few tables as well as lounge seating. One can also sit on the balcony or spread out in back. Bed was comfortable, AC kept the room cool. We stayed two nights - very much enjoyed it and we will be back. Groveland is appr. 30 minutes to the park entry, not including any wait which varies by date/time and offered some dining choices and a food market.

We enjoyed this hotel and talking with Finn, it was a great experience.

Historic building across from historic saloon and 30 minutes to Yosemite entrance.

Room was pleasantly quiet, though it was right next to the street. Bathroom is a bit dated. Quick access to a few places to get a meal or a drink

This place is quaint and the bed was comfortable. The host was welcoming and full of information about the town and hotel. However, there was no attendant in the morning when I went out for coffee and to load the car, the key to the front door did not work, even with the suggested jiggling. Luckily someone was there to let me in, and the second time no one was there and I panicked but went around and found the back door unlocked. I highly suggest getting keys that work. It gave me a good scare wondering how long I would have to wait to be let in.
