The Cliffs at Peace Canyon

Second stay here and definitely the last. Registration staff were less-than-friendly, and I had to spend 10 minutes saying “no” to the presentation offer before I was given a parking pass. The man trying to get me to sign up for the presentation was rude and insulting. The unit itself smelled horribly like old cigarettes. I immediately called the front desk to report this. They only offered to have housekeeping come “spray something.” The bedsheets are scratchy and uncomfortable. Bathtub wouldn’t hold water. Entire unit was just in need of some TLC and refreshing.

They provide towels, and maintenance staff is nice.

Office staff is rude especially SUSAN. She is very unprofessional. Maintenance staff is very nice. We booked on booking.com. Which requires no deposit. We called and asked they said no deposit. We get here after coming from out of state and they need a credit card for a deposit of $150. You also won’t get the deposit back for 7-14 business days. You also have to pay them the deposit there and then go to this new resort they built to get your deposit back which is 20 mins away. They will waste a lot of your time and could care less about it. They will also try and get you to go to this resort they just opened and will even offer you $125 visa gift card and it’s free breakfast/lunch. You get there and this resort wants another $150 deposit before they even talk to you. Again we asked if going to this requires anything and they said no just your ID It’s offered to families. We wasted our time going to just be told they wanted more money. Don’t fall for it. This was after I gave them a $150 deposit already. So another $150 that’s $300 they just want to hold of your money. They will even offer you a free trip the following year but it’s all a bit shady. Crazy fr. Definitely a scam. Rooms are decent especially for the price but if you are downstairs don’t expect any sleep the tiles are all loose and it’s loud af if someone is upstairs from you. We moved upstairs after two shitty days of no sleep after we called complaining multiple times they moved us. The upstairs units are more comfortable but still the tiles are very loose and cracked they literally move and lift up as you walk and it’s loud af. -REQUEST UPSTAIRS UNIT They don’t really clean the units and that’s obvious. We saw them in and out of units in 3-5 minutes. The floors and carpets are filthy. Bring house shoes. Your socks will be black in just a few steps.

The cleanliness and the size of the space was excellent. The location was nice and quiet.

I liked it all.
