We arrived on time for our 3pm check in but the receptionist took over 30 minutes to check the couple in front of us in. Such a slow laborious procedure. Wasting our time. We didn’t get to our room until 4pm as he took an excruciatingly long time to check us in. We had had a very long day of travel and just wanted to get to our room and relax. He didn’t listen to us when we kept saying, “No thank you, we are good”.But he would then proceed in talking and showing us things we didn’t either need to see or know While the rooms where lovely it’s a shame the staff weren’t. We specifically left the do not disturb sign on our door as we didn’t want anyone entering but the staff still proceeded in entering. We felt violated and extremely upset. The manager did nothing to appease the situation.

Everything was there to like really from the second you get greeted to last second your a guest top notch service next time if i decide to go and spend the weekend in Bruges this is where to stay.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I really enjoyed the courtyard/patio area. The bar was small but had a cozy feel. The breakfast basement was so beautiful too. The hotel staff are awesome and I’m definitely returning to Hotel de Castellion in the future. Ps. I booked my Brugge vacation because of the beautiful pictures online of Hotel de Castellion… in person was even more beautiful!

This might be the best hotel we have ever stayed in! Beautiful place, excellent service, excellent location, within ten minutes or so of everywhere we wanted to see. We wish our stay had been longer, and we will be back
