The check in staff were helpful and our request for a late check out was handled with no issues. The rooms are showing wear and tear and in need of an upgrade. But the lovely gardens make it an attractive place for birders and photographers alike. The choice of food outlet is limited to ONE and its a long trip to San Jose. Fortunately the food is decent and quite reasonable.

The grounds of the hotel are stunning with so many plants, trees and birds to see. The hotel itself is also lovely, we could watch the sunrise and sunset from our balcony overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was buffet style which suited us fine, we loved the fresh fruits and pastries that were on offer.

"Nice garden and good food but could be better "

The amenities was very bad, the closet smells like foot and the bed was a little uncomfortable. Good location but there are many other opción better around there. Beautiful gardens

The gardens are amazing. The views are beautiful. It's within 20-30 min. from San Jose and other sites of interest. It's not your typical hotel with it's beautifully planted and landscaped property. It's more like staying in a personal botanical garden.
