Water Street Inn

Hotel has 2 part, old worn out late 80s early 90s part and newer part, we were put in the 80s part (which you dont know about until you get there), spartan at best, may have been ok for a hayseed town out on the prairie but this is Minnesota's Birthplace City. Front desk was good.

Hotel is in great location! Very expensive - no fridge or microwave in any rooms. Hotel is old but kept clean.

Rooms are unique.

I would have appreciated a better coffee bar area/variety, since no complimentary breakfast. Other than that everything else was great. The bed was very comfortable!

Not sure it’s worth the price but it’s convenient

The bed was terrible. The sheets were ripped. Too expensive for the quality.

Pros: The propertiy it's self was very beautiful, having a view of the bridge and water from our room made it almost magical. The help served with smiles and polietness. Our room was grand, in keeping with the period of time it represented. We ate in your resturant mulitple times and the food was always flavorful. Cons: We were dismayed at having to pay extra for hotel parking. I expected the Lobby to be somewhat grander looking, a couple of large vases with fresh flowers, an offering of a small glass of Champane etc. Very disappoined in the quality of the toilet paper/ tissues. Toilet updated to high rise for us Senior Citizens would have been grand! Overall, still pleased. Would recomend. Thank you.
