GBGBEverything! I had a great time staying here. Kris (or it may have been Karl,) was amazing! He's a credit to this hotel. He goes above and beyond to assist you. I rate him 10 out of 10. Absolutely outstanding gentleman! Down to earth. A wealth of knowledge. Able to relate to guests on any level and start a nice conversation. Really good at his job. Nice breakfast and meals too. So the chef was amazing too.

Was unaware of the breakfast not been included as it stated on the just booking website. And the additional cost of parking wasn't hugely clear. So the price increased when booking in when really I had no other option but to pay as we needed the room. The cost was still cheaper than other hotels locally just would have liked it to be clear while browsing for deals
Good Parking was easy and nearby, £5 for 24 hours is good value. Good greeting and service by the reception staff. Fire and emergency arrangements clear and easy to follow. There was food on site as reasonable cost. Nice countryside nearby, very close to major roads and transport links by car. Plenty and good mirrors in the room. Free iron board and iron, decent hanging space, two bins, good towels Bad The shower was a water dribble coming out, the shower head was filthy with orange slime on it, the shower was so small, the toilet seat was wobbly and moving around. Shower gel and hand wash waste of time. Take your own. Finish and workmanship on repairs and updates to the room was very poor. Scratches scuffs marks all over the room, room full of soft furnishings - lord knows how you keep these properly cleaned between guests, tea coffee and kettle were so basic and poor show. Sofa chair was grubby unkempt. Two spiders in the room along with loads of cob webs all over the ceiling. Dusting and linen lint built up. Pull chord in bathroom filthy.
