"The Berkeley City Club is an amazing place, and to be able to actually stay there was a real treat."

The room was on the small side, but still more than adequate, the complimentary breakfast was the best I've experienced, and the location was perfect.

Having to pay for parking; felt like a bit of a ripoff.

Didn’t realize that the hotel was designed by Julia Morgan! What a wonderful opportunity to explore this historic building with its many common areas, including library, ballroom, theater, and indoor swimming pool.

Locatie en mooie architectuur

Hotel maakt veel lawaai snachts door oude leidingen en verwarmingssystemen of ventilatie, je hoort alles van naburige kamers alsook boven en onder. Sochtends luide muziek van cardio oefeningen. Zwembad is eerder koud en badmuts verplicht wat het niet zo gezellig of ontspannend maakt als dat we dachten op de foto. Mooie architectuur maar alles is oud en sommige dingen aan goede restauratie toe. De bar was leeg, zonder muziek of aanwezig personeel. Het ontbijt was ondermaats, yoghurt was Genetisch gemodificeerd en eieren, hesp, kaas word gewoon de volgende dag opnieuw uitgehaald, niet vers. Parking moet je appart betalen en 35€/dag als gast van het hotel. Dat was ook niet duidelijk op voorgand gecommuniceere
