The madrasa-turned hotel is exceptional, especially with its very own minaret. The staff was also very nice and caring, as it helped us to call the ambulance when my girlfriend injured her leg.

The room is a little smaller then expected and there were small ants inside.

Wir hatten das tolle Zimmer mit dem Balkon im Haupthaus. Die Treppen sind super steil, also Vorsicht, wer Knie- oder Gleichgewichtsprobleme hat. Oben angekommen bietet sich allerdings ein traumhaft schönes, großes Zimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten und extra Badezimmer sowie Kühlschrank und kleiner Tür noch zu einer extra Dachterrasse :-) Die Familie, die das Hotel - in einer alten Medrese gelegen - betreibt, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die junge Dame am Empfang spricht zudem sehr gutes Englisch. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen!

Man findet zwar beim Frühstückbüffett neben tollen Teevarianten auch Instantkaffe, muss aber für einen klassischen Maschinenkaffee extra bezahlen.

Great location, just outside the walled part of the city but a very quick walk. The old school was beautifully done and such a nice calm place to stay. The staff are so lovely and I really liked the breakfast.

we loved the feeling of the old student cells amenaged as nowaday room with bathroom. the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. i really loved the courtyard which makes you feel like home and all the uzbekistani tables where i spent very nice pauses.

We loved our stay here so much. The staff are wonderful, the location is perfect for exploring Khiva, and the hotel is lovely. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
