Captain Wohlt Inn Bed & Breakfast

This was our first stay in Hermann, and we will definitely be back and will book the Captain Wohlt again without hesitation. Centrally located, clean, quiet, very nicely furnished rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great owners! They were great! We are talking about getting a group together and revisiting! The Breakkfasts was delicious! And they give ya smores in the evening. And had live music in the evening! Very nice!!!

It was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Parking was great. Inside the room was clean and nice. However, the chairs were not comfortable and very cheap. There was not a lot of space to place clothes and belongings. The room would benefit by having some sort of dresser or chest to correct the issue. The bathroom was very nice, and the shower was fantastic. It was very quiet and peaceful which was great.

Ididn't know this was a B and B! A delicious breakfast was brought to our room! The atmosphere was wonderful in the courtyard.The owner gave us all a box of smores fixings and there were several fire pits. The toiletries were luxe, loved the live music and the whole place looked like a botanical garden!

Wasn’t aware of multiple buildings, had to walk to the entertainment up steep stairs ( could be a challenge for elderly). Did not know that breakfast was not included. We received a message asking if we had any dietary restrictions, when we arrived we asked what was for breakfast (were told quiche), we were told food would be outside our room at 8:30 am. At 8:33 they messaged asking if we wanted breakfast, I said we did, if it was included, they said it wasn’t….. $—pp. Had we known this, we would have eaten earlier. We did walk from Market street ( where our b&b was) to 3rd st for the music, fire pit and s’mores. Which is a nice touch. Rooms were clean, morning sun woke us up bright and early. People were nice, just not clear on breakfast price until I asked. I received a message about extra add ons, chocolate covered strawberries, bbq dinner, bucket of ice, ….

This hotel was perfectly nestled near the downtown area which allowed walking to restaurants, wineries and breweries. The room was completely updated with high end finishing including luxurious bedding. The breakfast (which was delivered to the room) was delicious. Finally, the staff was welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this as a destination in MO wine country!
