Dinsmore Boutique Inn

The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. Jake the Innkeeper was very attentive and it was easy to get into and out of the room. Breakfast was the best too. Highly recommend staying here

Jake the contact was very nice and accesible for inquires or questions and upon our arrival; very welcoming… Beautiful room, very comfortable, spacious. Decore reminded me of stays in Europe. The train was the only thing that scared me one night as I wasn't sure that was the noise that woke me up.

The room and service were perfect. We love the breakfast as well.

We were ungraded to an inside room because they were somewhat empty and the storm Debby was going by that night. Very nice, clean room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is included at the main floor restaurant with incredible food cooked to order. Well worth the extra money. Free parking was included in the parking structure behind the hotel. It is also located across the street from UVA hospital.

A charming historic property with thoughtful, engaging hosts. My room was just gorgeous, furnished with antiques and an incredibly comfortable bed. The bathroom was equipped w/ both a walk-in shower and a huge old-fashioned bathtub (a must for me). And the breakfast was beyond delicious, with choices, hot and cold, to suit every taste. I could not recommend this place more highly.

The dinsmore is a cute historic house that has been converted into a boutique hotel with a brunch restaurant. You get meals included in your reservation and I recommend eating at the restaurant—super tasty! Apparently has won awards for their Sunday brunch. The hotel has beautiful rooms that have old character and charm but are updated to modern standards. Be aware you do have to climb steps with your suitcases, it does not appear to be ada friendly which was not an issue for us but being that it is a converted old house it does not seem to have elevators or ramps to the upstairs room accommodations.

An historic building with a great manager, a terrific staff, and the best breakfast in Charlottesville. We will definitely stay here again.
