Super 8 by Wyndham Daytona Beach

Lovely room and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast not available due to work on kitchen - pool not open and pretty small. Lot of work going on - it will be lovely when finished.

I didn’t like that the only thing to do at the hotel which was the pool and it was closed, due to a leak. The vending machines were not working. House keeeping come in and changed our towels but they left the dirty washcloths and the bath mat towel. Like why change only the towels, and the rug in the room seems clean but it was dirty to the point that my daughter was playing on the floor and her pink pants turned brown. And we had to wear socks so that our feet didn’t get dirty. Also when you got off the elevator there was a weird smell lingering. The hotel staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the area and things to do. Thank you.

The lady at the front desk said I had someone in the room with me because both beds were messed up. Very rude staff. I used the two sheets because the blankets smelled very badly.

the place is super sketchy, i wouldnt advertise this place on your app. nothing worked in our rooms, tv didnt work, hair dryer didnt work, half the lights did work, the place smelt terrible and mad me almost puke, shady people in and out of that place constantly, i would not recomend anytime bring there kids around that enviorment,

The room was a good size. It met the criteria and was quiet and comfortable. The location was very good with lots of amenities and very close to the main roads that led to the speedway and the beach.

The Super 8 by Wyndham facility description details that a continental breakfast is available. It certainly was part of the reason that we selected this hotel. Our entire time ( 6 days) at the hotel there was no breakfast or provisions made available for us to eat breakfast ( such as a coupon etc.). There was white tape covering the words (continental breakfast) on the sign at the main desk. Certainly an additional cost that we were not expecting because the write up said a continental breakfast was available. We were not discounted or compensated in any way which would have been normal considering it was advertised on the Website. A pool was also listed under the facilities offered and was also not available. There was a sign (looked like it had been there for awhile) about construction however the pool looked fine and there did not seem to be any work underway. Laundry facilities were available and my husband washed his clothes and put them in a dryer only to find out the dryer was broken. When he reported it the front desk manager, the manager said he would look in to it. My husband waited at the dryer and after 15 minutes no one showed up he went back to the front desk. The manager said he tried to call someone but no answer and just shrugged it off. Certainly not a good response and my husband ended up having to find a laundromat to dry his clothes. Any one of these deficiencies could have been managed properly had Super 8 by Wyndham been respectful, advised guests either prior or at check in and made amends to correct or compensate guests for the lack of services that they advertise on their Website.

Exterior looks good, except… Lobby closed off (partition off to the guest) no access. Greeted by staff through plexiglass partition. Balcony and furniture rotted out! Unsafe! Entire building Reeked cigarette smoke. The area surrounding the building unsafe, drugs, homeless and other issues.
