The staff were very attentive and kind. We noticed that there "to-go" breakfast bags available for folks to take who were didn't have time to enjoy the breakfast in the dining room - that was an example of the great service. There were a lot of shops, restaurants, bars right behind the hotel - we came on a Sunday in the dead of winter, so we weren't able to visit many of the stops. Our room was very spacious and had options for us to spread out, sit at a desk, or relax on the sofa. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The entrance to the hotel is strangely off to the side and a bit hard to discern. Google Maps kept trying to send us to Old Demere Road instead of Demere Road. We finally called the hotel and were told it was across from Chick-Fil-A which helped (but GPS also told us to go a half a mile more past Chick-Fil-A - not sure Google Maps works reliably on St. Simons Island)

Breakfast was great. Eggs available at every meal. The entire staff: front desk, housekeeping was friendly and extremely responsive to our requests.

Close to St Simons Island airport. Lots of plane noise.
