A good relaxing stay

Great food, staff courteous and professional. Get a room overlooking the pool with the sea and marina to the left side for morning sunshine and quieter. Get a room overlooking the front and marina to the right side if you are into clubbing. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large, marble and spotless also large private balconies.

Good central location, large hotel, quite quiet but very low cost an ideal for what we required.

The above ratings are low as we did not stay in the hotel. We phoned you to cancel this visit because when we arrived at the hotel we were told we could not have the dinner we had booked as part of the package.They said they had contacted Hotels.com about this change but you had not told us. The 2nd operative I spoke to told me she would ring me back but she did not.I had already made two calls to Hotels.com from Spain on my mobile so I chose not to ring again. The hotel assured us that no payment had been taken and the booking was cancelled. We booked this on March 10th so there was plenty of time for us to be informed of changes.Extremely disappointing, especially since our booking was for New Years Eve.To get an email asking for a review today is simply insulting.

It is a pity that a hotel so well located has such terrible service. The reception guys do not have any idea of how to treat the clients. When I tried to check in, they told me that they are not allowed to do it until after 1:00pm, and I had to go two more times to finally get the keys. Eventually, they recognized that the room was not ready. Is it so difficult to tell me that from the beginning? For me, the food is terrible. Try to avoid the hotel food. Around the hotel, there are a lot of places to eat. I have been in a lot of 4 star hotels in Spain, and by far this should not be considered a 4 star hotel. It may have a lot of amenities but the quality is not the average in Spain.

The hotel had a smell from whatever cleaning agent they were using. Also, from the tub and the sink in the bathroom was coming bad smell of sewer. The TV was old style tube one. At the end - not very happy with the hotel and good that we stayed only 1 night.

Chose to stay at this hotel again because it really does tick lots of boxes. It's only five minutes walk from the station (just half an hour from the airport) and we had an excellent room overlooking the harbour. Spacious and well equipped, good bathroom, good balcony, air-con, etc., etc. Buffet breakfast and buffet supper are both good food and good value and general hotel facilities are great. And straight out of the door onto the sea front and lovely coastal walks. All the bars, cafes and restaurants are close by too. Can be a bit noisy about 3 a.m. when the clubs close - but fine if you close the double-glazed patio door!

The interior of the hotel is much superior than the first expression of the exterior. The rooms are very good, plenty of space and well kept. We went half board, the food is plentiful but very basic, cheap cuts of meat. Most of the waiting staff could do with some training. Shouting across the restaurant for conversation, or loud whistling. The most disturbing thing for us was the noise. With clubs and bars around the hotel, and people shouting, swearing all night long it was difficult to have good night rest. The external windows and doors hardly reduced the noise. This hotel is not the one if you wants to have some peace and quiet. We knew that this part of Fuengirola was lively but the music does not stop until about 5.30 in the morning, then you get the revellars actions for further few hours.

Good location. Only five minutes walk from train and bus station. Comfortable rooms if a bit dated. At busy times such as around mid day could do with more staff on reception when people are checking in and out. All in all good value for money

Thoroughly enjoyed out mini break at the Las Palmeras. Room very clean and comfortable. Our break included Half Board. The food was extremely good, no complaints at all. There was certainly something for everybody ! Breakfast was equally good, and I would recommend this hotel for a short break or equally a longer holiday. Cannot comment on the pool area, as we stayed at this hotel in January ! We will most certainly be back.
