Coronado Beach Resort

Unsure. We never got our room.

That we were already driving to the hotel from an hour and a half away, and they called us to say they made a mistake, and they accidentally overbooked, so we never got to actually stay there. They sent us to another hotel. I told them I booked the room 2 days prior, and I do a lot of research on hotels before we stay somewhere because of bad motel and hotel stays. So I wasn't too happy that they called us 3 hours before check-in to tell us this and send us somewhere we didn't know. We couldn't really say no or cancel since we were already driving there, and it was my husband's little birthday getaway. So we just had to go where they sent us.

I love that everything was within walking distance. Was not aware the beach would be closed for swimming during my entire stay.

Friendly environment and clean room.

I booked a room on my birthday and as I reached the hotel they told me they overbooked and had to cancel my stay. I had already payed for my room and they told me I couldn’t get a refund for 5-7 business days. It’s been 13 business days and I still have not received a refund and no communication from the hotel. I will never book a room here again.

This hotel has an awesome location and fun amenities. Loved our room!
