Super 8 by Wyndham Newton

Staff did a wonderful job. Owner very grumpy.

Room was about what you’d expect for the amount paid. Ok for a stop over.

Property is a bit worn.

Stayed here for the indycar races over the weekend and it was cheaper than the 300-400 per night that other hotels wanted.. Front desk person was very nice and check-in was quick and easy, Bed was comfortable but sheets and bedding not the cleanest. Electrical outlets by the beds didnt work and neither did the lamp. Had to slam the fridge door to get it to stay shut. Noisy neighbors all night and into early morning hours.

Devin was working the front desk and hes really what made this visit stress free

Staff was great was just no AC in the hotel but the rooms so hallways and rest of hotel was very hot

One thing missing from the property is an indoor heated pool. I had the impression that Super 8 had a pool, but I was sadly mistaken. Unfortunately though, for my next stay in Newton, I will be booking a hotel with a pool.

Cleaning not the best, fridge froze food, no outlet by desk

First of all: both rooms were disgusting. Second: the seal on one of the toilets was broken so it slid around. Third: mast water stains on the ceiling tile in both bathrooms. Fourth: the safety lock in the same room had been broken off. Both rooms smelled terrible. One bed had a crusty stain on the fitted sheet. Honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever been to. We did MOT eat breakfast. It was just after 8 and they were out of a lot of stuff already, breakfast was over at 9. Also upon our arrival, the room was smothering hot and took hours to cool off. 0/10, would never again.
