On the Beach Holiday Apartments

Our trip to Cairns was scheduled to be from Dec.18-21. We are from the US and the airline canceled our flight due to cyclone Jasper and airport being closed due to flooding. We couldn’t make the trip due to last minute cancellation. The hotel management was extremely unfriendly and refused to refund the charges. Their policy indicated only 1 night of charge for cancellation. However we were charged for the entire duration of our stay. I really wanted to rebook with this property when I visit Cairns next as a good will, but I would not any more. The whole city was under water and the management messages us as if nothing happened. We are extremely disappointed.

Very clean and tidy apartment. Waterfront balcony, relaxing views. Quiet surrounds with clean and well kept gardens. Ample on site parking.

On arrival the keys to my allocated room could not be found. The afterhours manager was verbally unpleasant. He provided the cleaners key but was unconcerned about security of my stay not knowing who may have access to the room with lost keys. When I politely asked him about security he suggested I find a room elsewhere!! This of course was not possible on a Saturday evening.

Beautiful location on the beach. Good restaurants nearby.

would definitley return, place was clean and tidy, receptionist was very friendly nothing was a problem.

Very nice resort, close walking distance to everything. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pool was great.

If you want a quiet well apponted 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the Coral sea (through palm trees) where the surf life saver part of the beach is literally 40 paces from the front of the property with all the facilities you need, and well serviced by Gerald and his attentive team you will not be disappointed. If you need to have really fast streaming by wifi and superb Telstra mobile connectivity you've clearly not come for a super relaxing heaven sent holiday. Any reasonable person will be extremely satisfied.

Nice views and small but all you need in the apartment. Lovely area.

In spite of my later arrival, ease of check in was terrific with an after hours key pick up available. Spotless, well appointed apartment with amenities and its patio within steps of the pool. Did I mention that the beach is directly across the street with beautifully paved walks, benches and palms swaying in the breeze? Great restaurants and shops, too!
