1/ There were no male staff members at the concierge during my visit. A petite female staff member was assigned to assist guests with heavy luggage, which may not have been ideal for handling physically demanding tasks. 2/ Additionally, the front desk was manned by only one staff member tasked with check-ins, phone calls, and guest inquiries all at once. This staffing level appears insufficient and may hinder the overall guest experience. 3/ Lastly, the service team at the buffet restaurant did not demonstrate the expected level of friendliness or hospitality.

This hotel has a lot of facilities and many things to do. More like a recreation hotel.

Location is away from shops and the hotel is outdated.

It is quite surprising to find a solid five-star hotel in a small provincial city like Kaiping. This is a vast, spacious venue with a nice river view. Room is cozy and neat. The whole place was just renovated so everything is new and tidy. Breakfast is underwhelming, though. Price is fair.
