Pantower International Hotel

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel in October. I am quite happy with the hotel experience. I requested a high floor, non-smoking room. They gave us what we asked plus more. The room is a good size room with a beautiful view of the river that we can enjoy the lighting along the riverside at night. The room itself is clean stuffed with a good amount of toiletries supply. The room rate included breakfast. I found breakfast to be plentiful and tasty. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The only drawback I could say about this hotel is that it is a bit far from shopping, food(if you want to eat outside of the hotel) etc and it is not accessible via public transportation. Be prepared to take taxi in and out of the hotel.

For Pan Tower to call itself "international" I had some big expectations. They try to cater to overseas Chinese like me. The rooms were clean, the service was great, and the continental breakfast fabulous. But the reception does not offer the best exchange rate and the Bank of China, located next to the hotel, requires you to have an account with them. Also disappointing us the Wi-Fi which is shoddy at best. The rooms while clean, still wreaked of cigarette smoke which is strange because I'm on a non smoking floor.
