"BEST RESORT EVER (2nd time visiting)"

10.0

This was our second time at Stonefield Villa Resorts- we absolutely love this resort. They have BEAUTIFUL views - the petit piton and ocean are stunning. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, and so their absolute best for you to have an amazing time. Sadia is so friendly and pleasant and easy to talk to, and she is prompt in responding to emails to set up anything you may need and/or to make a reservation. Ancia from Mango Tree works in the day, for breakfast and lunch, and we absolutely love her. She is amazing. Pricing is comparable to other resorts (although significantly less than Ladera or Jade mountain) - while feeling very much so like a 5star experience. You have your own personal villa- we stayed in flamboyant (for the 2nd time) and we have a full kitchen, and spacious living quarters. My husband and I laugh because both times we've gone we were adamant we would go to the gym- however, both times we've only made it one time. While the gym is stocked and nice, our villa was down at the bottom of the hill and we were out of breath by the time we made it to the gym (that's on us). We were able to easily book excursions through the front desk staff, and they also easily helped us book trips to town to go to the grocery store and also to experience a few other restaurants since we hadn't been able to during our previous stay with them (although noting Mango Tree is AMAZING). Marcus was our primary driver, and we absolutely love him. He's friendly and funny, and truly a tour-guide during your trips. He showed us various things, taught us about the island. He's the best of the best. We arrived at the end of the wet season (end of November through first week in December)- while it rains, it's not constant. Stonefield Villa Resort is amazing. It's honestly one of, if not our absolute, favorite place to go. It feels so small, homey, and exclusive. We absolutely love it and cannot wait for our next visit!

"Stonefield= honeymoon dreams"

10.0

Stonefield was an absolute dream to stay at. Our room with private pool had the most gorgeous view. The staff was amazing and helpful. The restaurant had the most delicious food. We kept saying we felt like we were staying at the White Lotus. We love to travel and have been to a lot of places and Stonefield really blew us away. We highly recommend

"Best honeymoon boutique Hotel"

10.0

We enjoyed our honeymoon at Stonefield Villa. We had a 4 night stay. Our stay came with a free breakfast option. They had our room decorated nicely with a bottle of champagne. We stayed in the piton suite. All of the villas have a private pool. This made our first evening and morning easy to just relax and unwind. The have a floating breakfast, lunch and dinner option. We had the floating breakfast. The breakfast was great every morning; however, the dinner menu changed everyday and it was very limited. The staff were very kind and attentive. They gave us a cell phone to call for room service, and taxi service. Whenever we used their taxi service, we would just give them a call back to pick us up. This made it very easy to get around without the stress of having to worry about how we would get back. Our villa was beautiful. It has a nice kitchen and our bathroom/ shower area did not have a fourth wall. The shower outdoors was a very serene and relaxing experience. We were given a free 15 minute foot massage. Our massage was so good, we scheduled a couples massage for the very next day. We also purchased the soup, candle and body oil from the spa. If we have the opportunity to visit st Lucia again, we will definitely stay at Stonefield Villa again.

"Solo Traveler Package - 10/10 would recommend!"

10.0

This was my first time in St. Lucia and my first time going on a solo vacation. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Stonefield Villa Resort was absolutely PERFECT for my trip. It was private, peaceful, the staff was incredibly helpful, and every single meal I had at the Mango Tree Restaurant was amazing. Each villa comes with it's own private pool, hammock, and incredible views of the ocean and/or Pitons. I've never stayed somewhere that was so peaceful and so private. It was exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the Solo Traveler Package, which included airport transfers, breakfast/dinner/drinks, and a number of excursions. I did every single excursion that was included and loved them all, especially the snorkeling trip and the waterfall. Oh, and the massage at Escape Spa was one of the best I've had (and I get massages pretty often). I can't say enough good things about my stay, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and adventurous stay in St. Lucia. If you're looking for nightlife and late nights, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with the most amazing views, rooms, staff, and food, this is your place.

"Spectacular stay"

10.0

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our anniversary trip to St Lucia. The views are spectacular, every villa has its own pool, and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend staying here! The area also has a lot to offer if you want to explore.

"Only resort to consider for St. Lucia"

10.0

There could not be a more beautiful place to stay. The views were unbelievable day and night. The private villas allowed for comfort and relaxation on a different level. The restaurant rotated a menu that kept us wondering how it could keep getting better each meal. The food at all three mealtimes was beautifully presented and just provided incredible flavors. But the best part is the staff. Everyone was friendly, going out of their way to know who you are and provided for any need or want. I felt like we were leaving family by the end of the stay. They will provide transfers to and from the airport. They do all the detail work for any excursions you want to take. Privacy, quiet, clean, beautiful, delicious-these are just a few of the words to describe Stonefield.

"Stay for the view"

4.0

We stayed here for 6 nights out of our ten day trip (the other 4 nights were at Anse Chastanet so see my review for there too). Providing more details as previous reviews really helped us make decisions. Our room: We stayed in a mountain and ocean view villa. Very grateful for the air conditioning here to escape the heat and the outer area was comfortable too. 1) Kitchen was well supplied. Felt weird having a big sugar bowl in the fridge that I’m assuming is shared with previous occupants. No microwave so had to get creative with reheating leftovers. 2) No daily room service so had to ask for everything you wanted at the restaurant (ie, creamers for coffee, fresh towels) or call reception. 3) Outdoor shower was nicer than I expected but could not get hot water even with booster. 4) Got a call one morning that water would be off for 20 minutes, 2-3 hours later we still had no water so called front desk, said they would look into, never heard back but water did come back on shortly after. 5) Having a private pool was awesome! Can’t beat the mountain view! The food: We chose to only get breakfast as provided with the room rate. The all inclusive option seemed expensive and we’re really glad we didn’t pay for that. We also thought we’d go out more into town. 1) First night we arrived was Saturday, we didn’t make reservations because we had a late lunch and weren’t sure when we would be hungry. When we finally went down to the restaurant, we were kind of told off for not making a reservation. This was not a good first impression/experience but do understand they get busy on a Saturday night. 2) Breakfast - basic options included with room rate so not much variety especially if you stay longer than a few days. Requested Raisin Bran first two mornings which came crawling with ants. They did replace with a fruit cup but it was a turn-off. 3) We ended up here for dinner four nights (three for me as I ate leftovers from another restaurant) because we got too lazy to go out but menu was very limiting - three entree choices and given that I don’t eat fish, seafood, or spicy food, there was little for me to eat and ended up with apps/salads. Hubby did love all the fish & seafood he ate. 4) Missed breakfast one day as we had no water and couldn’t freshen up to go. When we went for lunch, we were told they could have brought breakfast to us but by then, it was too late. 5) Get pressured to tip for breakfast - they hand you a zero bill with a place to fill in a tip. 6) Originally booked the candlelight dinner under the mango tree for $185 US / couple on the day of our 25th anniversary but cancelled it when we realized it’s the same regular dinner menu and didn’t feel it would be worth it. 7) Service in restaurant was often slow, okay when you’re on holiday but when it’s not busy, not sure why. The staff: Difficult to understand the English of some of the staff. Wait staff were lovely. Responsive when we called reception to make taxi/excursion arrangements. The excursions: 1) We did Morne Coubaril 3 in 1 zip lining, buffet, run tasting tour on our own, getting a taxi from Stonefield to there - WAY cheaper than booking through resort. 2) We booked the Tet Paul nature trail hike through Stonefield which worked out great. Tip: It’s a pretty short taxi drive over to other resorts for a meal. We hopped over to Dasheene restaurant at Ladera Resort for our anniversary and had a fantastic meal. On our last night, we went over to Jalousie Grill at Sugar Beach resort and had an amazing meal there. Overall, I was going to give this three stars but dropped to two because personally, I only read 4-5 star reviews and 1-2 star reviews and felt some of the points above should be read if you’re considering this resort. I would also say that as the second resort after Anse Chastanet, this review is probably harsher than if we had done Stonefield first or if we had only stayed here, but it’s hard not to compare so hope this helps others!

"Be Warned Of This Honeymoon Experience"

8.0

Stonefield Resort was a great experience that had its highs and lows. I will cover the positives first. As a honeymoon location, this is a 10/10; it's private, and you truly feel like it's just you guys there. The villa they have you stay at feels extremely private. They also do a great job of setting up an itinerary with you for all of the adventures that they provide. You'll be able to have breakfast and go on an adventure right after and have the rest of the day to yourselves. The staff was hit or miss. The taxi drivers were all great and was willing to take us to places outside of the adventure impromptu like to the ATM or to the grocery store. The other side of it is the staff at the mango tree who were nice but did not do a good job of keeping a record of payments. Which leads to my HUGE NEGATIVE RED FLAG of the resort. We had the sexy experience all-inclusive package, which covers breakfast and dinner outside of expressos and alcoholic beverages. The way it works they will keep record of everything and then bill you at checkout with an itemized list of all of your purchases that weren't covered. Like tips, the adventures that's not included, alcoholic drinks, etc. The thing is, when we got done with our stay and saw our list, they tried to charge us for all of our dinners plus the tips we left. Some of the breakfasts as well. It wasn't changed until we looked at the list and called it out. Then when we called it out, they gave us another list with an even higher charge. We had to go through 5 different revisions. Thank God we had kept track of what we were actually paying for while we were there. Also when we finally got to the correct amount we didn't get a sorry or anything. If it wasn't for that this would have been a great experience but I just wanted to write this to warn everyone to keep record of what you're paying for here, they will try to finesse you. A big thing I wasn't told until we asked was at the Mango Tree Restaurant if you get the chef's special that's not included in your package and for lamb and steak they charge you regardless. Overall, this was a great experience, especially for a honeymoon. I would just be aware that Stonefiel,d like a lot of resorts, will try to finesse you if you don't keep up.

"Stonefield Made Our Anniversary Truly Special"

10.0

We recently stayed at Stonefield for our 25th anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive to our every need, making us feel cared for the entire time. The food was excellent, and the service matched it—friendly, attentive, and professional. The setting itself was beautiful, making it a perfect place to relax and celebrate such a special occasion. We truly loved our experience here and would absolutely recommend Stonefield to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.
