Ocean View Inn

Noisy from upstairs guests, you could hear all footsteps and many conversations. Assuming just loud, disrespectful guests as the hotel couldn’t fix. That was our only real complaint.

The convenience of the location. Having additional parking on the side of the Inn, which made it easy to get into our room. There was plenty of space for the three of us, even with the couch made into a bed. There was a little "kitchen" center in the lobby with a toaster and a microwave, which would have been helpful if we needed them. The staff was friendly and prompt when I needed an extra set of towels.

Upon entering and first glances- there was a used bar of soap left on the window sill in the shower. There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom. There is one bar by the sink but nothing in where the shower is, at all. My reservation was for 3, but there was no bed set up for the couch, nor was there any instructions for turning the couch into a bed, and the thing was missing bars, so it tagged. The seat in the shower was broken on one side, and the hose for the shower leaked so bad it was very difficult to use. The screen on the sliding glass door was either off the track or missing a wheel or something because it was harder than heck to move it.

There was an ocean view, somewhat diagonal due to tall trees in front of building. Top floor room was spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was pretty quiet considering building fronts on hwy 1.

Some windows were foggy, needed replacing. Vaulted ceiling beams dropped low enough to require care not to bump head. No elevator, although helpful staff offered to help carry luggage. Other than a convenience store next door, the site is isolated.

Great place to stay at, great customer service. Definitely would recommend this place to whoever wants to have a mini getaway.

If you are looking for a cozy getaway look no further and reserve, the place is very quiet and you have lots of options around if you want to visit the beaches nearby there is always something nice to look at.

The view

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. Very nice lobby, comfortable bed and pillows and a large bathroom with rain shower head. Pretty good distant view of the ocean from the first floor side room. Grocery mart and gas station next door was very convenient. Staff was quite friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere in the hotel is very calm, the staff is very friendly. They have parking. Room was clean and good for the price. There’s a cozy lounge area with a fireplace, a sofa, and a coffee corner where guests can make tea or coffee. The only thing that bothered me was the noise coming from the fridge and the air conditioner — it made it hard to sleep at night. Also, be aware that the hotel is located right next to the road, so you can hear traffic noise as well
