We had booked 4 identical double rooms :- Parking was good, location was ok to walk to the town centre, and the rooms were quiet at night overlooking the woods at the back of the building. Bed was very comfortable and shower was good (where available). Breakfast was very good and grounds looked after, clean and tidy.

We had booked 4 rooms :- Room 1 and 2 - rooms had no problems at all, had bathroom heaters and electric shutters outside the windows Room 3 - the push in element on the bath/shower fitting to route the water through the shower did not work, could only have a bath, bath was too short in length for a tall person. Room 4 - the shower pipe and head couldn't be hung up as the cup shaped holder on the rail was broken on one side, so could only have a bath, again bath was too short in length. Also in room 4 :- - the sink had cigarette burns in the basin, and a strong smell of stale tobacco whenever the taps were run, eventually could see remains of cigarette butts had been pushed down the outlet drain in the sink at some time. - there was no heater in the bathroom. - there was no electric shutter, it was manual and took a long time to twist the handle to lower or raise it as it was very stiff and a large shutter.
