The whole experience was a nightmare - which seems to be what the property aims to achieve. The hotel is aimed at servicing people who like being spooked by the supernatural. The resident ghost narrative is everywhere - in a large board at the entry, in 2-3 pages in the room booklet, on Lyle’s door. If the haunted house angle is the property’s USP, it should be clearly advertised as such in the listing. We checked out after the first night (of a 3 night stay) and were unable to sleep that first night.

Location

The restaurant and bar are closed all season due to lack of staff. At no time prior to booking in did they advise us of this.

The historic character of the hotel.

It is way overpriced given the standard and poor cleanliness. Bar and restaurant closed "for the season". Communication with regards to the item we left was unclear.

El baño pequeño y la bañera a false reformar. La moqueta vieja. La recepcionista era bastante seca y no facilitaba la información.
