Room was a decent size,clean and modern bathroom, staff friendly and helpful,and the restaurant attached was reasonably priced,with a varied menu,and served very good food,definitely would recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

The room was perfect, clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel. Superb choices of food and wine and excellent service. Marianne, her husband and staff made us feel so welcome. Thank you Kyriad, Liseaux!

Booking.com should review how this property is classified and presented on the platform. The discrepancy between advertised standards and actual conditions raises concerns about misleading representation. This property is advertised and classified as a 4-star hotel. Based on my experience, this classification is seriously misleading. The room was significantly smaller than shown in the promotional photos. The ceiling is so low that you can easily touch it with your hand (I have photographic evidence). Two adults can barely move around the room at the same time. The room was cold. The portable heater is extremely noisy when turned up, meaning you must choose between warmth and sleep. The mattresses are excessively hard and uncomfortable. Overall comfort level is comparable to a basic one-star budget hotel — certainly not 3-star, and absolutely not 4-star. The Wi-Fi did not function initially. I had to visit reception twice before being given access to an unsecured network as a “solution.” In 2026, this is unacceptable for a property marketed as 4-star. I paid approximately €115 for this stay. In my opinion, the value provided does not justify even half of that amount. Future guests should carefully review recent feedback before booking. Not recommended.
