Campanile Vire

For the price I paid, I did not expect a luxurious hotel and I was very pleased overall with this Campanile. I hadn't booked a room for handicapped persons, but as soon as I wheeled my handicapped mother through to reception the staff immediately changed my room to a very nice ground floor room suitable for her needs. We arrived too late to have an evening meal but were offered a variety of alternatives which we declined as we had plenty of snacks in the car. We had a very comfortable night and great showering facilities the next morning.

Clean and comfortable room. Expensive for type of hotel

Reception only open until 11pm. Room was clean. Location was a bit outside a town. Goodvalue for an overnight stop-off on a long journey

Nothing exciting about this hotel but it was perfectly fine for a stop over on a long drive. We had a good night sleep which was all we wanted. Because the hotel is a bit out of town we ate in the restaurant which offered a convenient meal but here again nothing exciting.

Free-wifi Comfy beds Catering at hotel varied and value for money. After overnight ferry crossing able to book in at 11am and catch up on sleep. Staff very helpful

Just what you would expect from that hotel chain. Adequate.

Did not give 5/5 for 'Facilities, Condition' as restaurant was closed on Saturday evening, we had to go out and find somewhere else after what was a long and tiring day. Breakfast, however, wasvery good.
