The bathroom was awful, tiny tiny nowhere to put toiletries felt very closed in. I never saw one member of staff the 2 nights I stayed there

It doesn’t look much in the outside but it is lovely and clean on the inside. The staff were incredibly helpful. Accommodated the special needs my mother had without hesitation, even though I hadn’t mentioned it before. They gave us a beautifully renovated room with balcony doors to enjoy the fresh air. Full streaming service in the tv as well. So many more good things I could say about Gainsborough lodge. I loved it

The outside looks a bit unkept but I’m sure they are working on that

Great place to stay near Gatwick. There are good bus links to get from the airport to hotel.
