"Stopover"

We stayed for 1 night en route from Spain to England. A nice rare treat to find tea ,coffee & a kettle in the room. Lovely tasting food, but it arrived suspicious ly quickly & it wasn't very hot. What really made our stay were the lovely friendly staff,especially Anna. She looked after us very well & we spent a long time chatting & practicing our language skills over a glass of the local chateau chevigny wine,which was excellent. We will definitely stay here again & hopefully spend more time in Blois.

"Not good if you don’t have a car"

Nothing wrong with the hotel but wouldn’t recommend at all if you don’t have a car. It was further out from the train station than I realised, took an hour to walk there along basically a motorway and I didn’t feel very safe. Other guests were a bit noisy in the evenings.

The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating for my poor French. He gave lots of advice as to where to visit. He is an asset to the hotel and deserves promotion

"Little Gem of a Hotel"

What makes this Kyriad different are the staff. Without exception they are friendly helpful and just plain nice. The location is in a quiet spot but close to main central places to visit. We use the hotel regularly and will do so in the future.

"Going Downhill"

Hotel seems to have gone downhill since we last stayed there. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer. The gardens look like no one has tended to them for years so what used to be a nice seating area is now a wasteland. Bar was not well stocked and sometimes had to wait to find someone to serve.
