I always start with the positives: 1. The room and common areas were clean. 2. The staff was friendly and efficient. 3. The wifi was solid. 4. The continental breakfast had many options. The one negative was something I've never experienced: The bathroom light didn't work. I mentioned this to the desk clerk, and she offered the usable suggestion of utilizing the heat lamp. I'm assuming this problem will be fixed

"Horrible. Disgusting. Owner is aggressive and intimidating."

Nothing. It was filthy, there was evidence of bed bugs, and the owner was hostile and aggressive.

Bed bug blood smears on mattresses. Stains on mattresses. Hair and crumbs in bedding.

This place is on a perfect location in between Chicago to Munising or Mackinac islands.

Not that clean. They gave us all used and smelly towels. I have requested them to change all and they did it. But it should be replaced immediately after a tenant leaves. Other than that the place is just OK.

The location was adequate for a one night stay. The hotel certainly shows it's age with beat up walls, paint and trim. It was as clean as it could be for it's age.

Requested a 1st floor room and clerk said no. Facility is clearly not full. Difficult to understand him due to heavy accent. Not a good experience.
