Hengfeng Haiyue International Hotel

I've been coming to this hotel for almost 7 years now. It is in a great location, close to the airport and convenient for western visitors. There is a Starbucks on site, and McDonald's on site, a KFC on site and Pizza Hut. If you've been traveling through China for a while when you come to this hotel it is refreshing to have some comforts of home. There is only one problem, the Wi-Fi is terrible. When it works it is great but it is so sporadic and difficult to stay connected that it has finally forced me to look to stay elsewhere. I like this hotel and I like the convenience but if I can't do my work efficiently while I am at this hotel then there's no point in staying there.

Service was ok and friendly but aircon was odd. Water leak from ceiling

Heng Feng hotel is centrally located in Bao An and it's great for business travelers while it offers lots of other amenities with its convenient location. Room was comfortable and I was especially impressed with the movie selection on my TV. Also impressed with the staff and their English conversation skills which were well beyond average in China. The japanese restaurant in 3rd floor is great and the spa offers good relaxation after a long day of factory meetings. I'd return here.

Wifi is terrible... Cannot get any work done at the hotel.

One negative which was probably more so a Hotels.com issue, when I booked it said I had breakfast included but when I arrived the hotel wouldn't honour it. Was very embarrassing when you show up for breaky only to be told you don't have it.

Good business hotel. No faults found. Recommended.

Room was good for value. Reception was friendly and smilely. BUT no attendance at entrance what so ever on arrival and departure. I need to pick up all lugguages for my family, tolled them to check in, tolled them to my room along the dragful carpeted corridor, tolled them to check out, tolled them outside after check out, tolled them to the roadside to catch a taxi by myself!

I booked a non-smoking suite. Confirmed it was non-smoking at check-in. It was full of smoke (and ash trays). Asked at the front desk to change to another less smoky room, and was told there were no suites but that they would 'upgrade' me to a room in the executive wing. OK. The room was not a suite. All about the room was the same as the suite, except it was not smoky and was not a suite. There is NO Executive 'lounge' or any other amenaties. So, it wasn't an upgrade. I didn't bother to attempt changing again. The temperature control did not work. No matter what I set the room temperature, it stayed the same - although the fan kept blowing. I asked an staff member that happened to be in the hallway, and they said it was OK. (It wasn't). Perhaps they didn't understand me?

Great Location for Foreigners. Everything you need is less than 5 minutes walk away. ATM'S , Supermarket , and good Food can be had at Raindrops Café just opposite. KFC open 24 /7. Don't be scared to talk to the staff they can be very helpful and friendly. They will do anything to help. I was there nearly 4 weeks and would definitely return. Try to pay the extra for a suite , its worthwhile.

Excellent location if you are choosing to stay in this area. Take note it is not in the city centre but there are shops nearby and a vibrant neighborhood.
