Desk staff fine and room adequate, location very good

Every 30 minutes throughout the night a pump started up, pfpbably pumping water up to 4th floor, it went on for a few minutes and continually disturbed my sleep, so I did not enjoy the rest. The TV remote did not work, probably no one had checked batteries. No worth the £80 I paid. Will not stay at Hotel Touring, Pisa again nor recommend it.

Good location. Staff were nice.

Entrance door was locked when I arrived. It was worrying as I rang bell and waited 10-15 minutes. I was making video to send to booking.com to say no access, and was about to leave when staff opened. He said he was upstairs. It seems like the reception staff do everything maybe even the cleaning and making breakfast. It needs refurbishment with care for just the basics to be to a reasonable standard.
