The room had a strong smell of damp/ very unpleasant Breakfast was average Staff at check-in (and especially check out) weren’t the most helpfuk

I only had breakfast .it was very good.the staff at breakfast were all very helpful and friendly

My room really wasn’t big enough for a double bed. It was impossible to sit at the desk as couldn’t get chair in front of it. There was only one chair so if two people were there one would have to sit on the bed which was so hard it was impossible to sit on the edge. I know it was unfortunate that the lift door on the second floor couldn’t be used but I especially asked when I booked about a lift as I can’t really do stairs. Had to walk down to the 1st floor then use the lift and going up I had to go up to 3 rd and walk down . I asked to be moved to another room but was told there wasn’t one. The twins in the restaurant at breakfast were lovely as was Callum who helped me with my case.

Location was good for my needs, although 20 mins walk from central Douglas. Breakfast was good. Room very clean.

I tried to check in an hour early. Staff were surly and did not even offer to store my bag for an hour and simply sent me away. Not a great check-in/welcome experience. Other than check-in, everything else was as expected and to a very good standard.

The staff was great, room were big and grand and breakfast was awesome. Us the location of this hotel is very Central to tramway.

Room was very spacious. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice dining room, lovely reception. Good, plentiful fresh cooked food and drinks.

The lift was very small. The second floor lift was broken. We were on the second floor. My hubby is due for hip replacement surgery next month. I was told there were no other rooms available even tho booking.com stated there were 3 rooms available. The bathroom alternated between smelling like a deep fat frier and a sewer.

Everything ran smoothly from beginning to end and I am already planning another visit. The Hotel was very clean and well laid out and the staff were excellent. I have no complaints.

Nothing, My stay was excellent. The building was well laid out and well signposted, The staff were knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had. Exceptional value for money and I will tell all my friends.
