Firstly, the positives - friendly staff. Room cleaned every day. Kettle and mugs in room, but no coffee, tea or milk provided. No fridge either. Nice pools. Bar staff provide quick and cheerful service. The BIG negative - the food was barely lukewarm, frequently cold. I had a meat lasagne, the first piece as it was put out, barely lukewarm and so very little meat. Pasta was cold, main dishes were cold. There was one microwave, in constant use. Even had one day where there no butter. Pizzas were like cardboard, toppings were so sparse that they were virtually identical. My daughter had a lamb stew, lamb bones but no meat. Certainly won't return.

Lovely hotel, traditional and authentic. Plenty of choice for food. Pools lovely. We stayed in room 1 and it had a pool right outside the back we could walk out to. Very friendly staff. Will go back x

We have stayed a number of times here so no real surprises. There is so much to like here. The gardens are beautiful and do well maintained. The whole place is typically Andalusian, low rise , full of character and pretty. Our room as requested was on a high floor , it was a deluxe room with good fridge and we had bathrobes and flippers . It was in Malaga block. We were very happy with this room . Now to the things that kept the place down . The bar staff generally are rude . The same staff that return each year appear to just put up with everyone, they occasionally interact but only after us Brits or other guests try with them . We notice this every year . It's a pity. The other thing that's disappointing is the fact that should you be one of the people who have headed out on holiday for peace and quiet it's rare to get here. Theres music blaring out from the pool at Málaga Block by the lifeguard thst seems to think he's a DJ in Ibiza . The lovely main square also has music playing loudly . I love music but not having even a short period just to sit in peace is a bit irritating. That said , it's a good location , the food is acceptable and we would still return again despite these niggles . All hotels have them .

Second time here for 28 nights... This time the room is awful, like a dungeon... Bars at window, no sun, poor storage, we will not return.
