Best Western Hôtel Hermitage

L’emplacement est idéal et le bâtiment est très beau.

Hôtel très vétuste qui ne vaut pas du tout ses 4 étoiles : chambres bruyantes, pas de clim (vieux ventilateurs bruyants fournis), lit très petit, rideaux cassés, très forte odeur de cuisine / graillon dans les étages et les chambres, propreté très moyenne (poils dans la sdb, joins moisis, tâches sur les draps…).

I had a seamless booking experience. Car parking was available, but it did cost to park in the hotel grounds, once all free parking outside of thee hotel had been taken. The staff were all very friendly and the Hotel Bar was very easy to use.

The room lacked air conditioning, but it had 2 fans to help keep the room at a bearable temperature.

Central location close to Calais tunnel port. Bar was handy as was the outside seating area Room was spacious and clean

No air conditioning

We decided on a junior suite -the size of the room was HUGE ! The room itself was stunning & clean The hotel is a perfect location as a stop before reaching Calais & perfect for the town. The town holds a mixture of old & new & quite a mixture of restaurants & pubs. The staff were friendly -particularly Yelanie ?? who was very helpful & tried very hard to look after us & was also very informative about the restaurants available in town & the food they provided. She informed us of an excellent Italian restaurant where the food & drink could not be faulted.

There is no inbuilt air conditioning & in the middle of a heat wave it was desperately needed - especially travelling with our dog! We were provided with a portable air con machine which just never worked & a fan that just blew around hot air... had I realised there was no air conditioning I would not have booked - although that was totally my fault for not picking up on lack of that facility We had to sleep with all the windows open to try to get some air but the road below was noisy & seemed to hold a lot of traffic for such a small town. Breakfast was far too over priced for what was provided & all self service. There is no restaurant belonging to the hotel but plenty of choice available very nearby.

Tolles Hotel zuvorkommendes Personal, ansprechende Ausstattung, top Frühstück. Wir konnten unseren 3-Tage-Aufenthalt kurzfristig um eine Nacht verlängern, obwohl der ganze Ort ausgebucht war! Glück gehabt - und das Hotel kam uns entgegen, wir brauchten nicht das Zimmer zu wechseln! Großartig !!! Danke!!
