El personal muy amable y la habitación muy limpia. De pronto el desayuno podrían servirlo más temprano para quienes debemos salir por alguna actividad turística antes de las 8. Por lo de más excelente servicio ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Too close to the street a little bit of noise

Management lady offered us another accommodation, because the shown and offered rooms are by far smaller than 12 - 18 m². Including the bathroom max 10 m². Front desk lady in backpackers hotel was very friendly.

We booked a room with 16 m², but it was much smaller. Incl bathroom max 10 m². First the woman from front desk didn't believe me. I recognised she had no idea how to calculate m². Then a woman from the management showed up with the house keeping man. He brought a meter stick to teach me what's the right room size...... Finally I had to teach the management and hotel staff how to use it and calculate the result. 16 m² means each side 4 m long. Well, 2,8 x 3 m..... that was the result. Including the bathroom max 10 m². Management lady explained me, that she made the calculation by foot steps. Because she's isn't tall, she had to do 4 steps. But by far she didn't do a one meter step. So she excuses herself and offered me another hotel she's running. Backpackers Hotel not far away from the Hostal del Rio. Ask for those rooms there, if the room in Hostal del Rio doesn't fit to your expectations. I am writing that review and those lines, because 5 days after our stay and room problem the m² declarations are still the same. Coffee at Breakfast was cheap quality.
