Known this property for 40+ years. Good location, always liked the atmosphere of the hotel. The mix of contemporary decor with antiques. Background music in recent years has been excellent

Bathrooms in general are out of date - - thin towels, no toiletries offered,(except leftover bottle of Palmolive hand wash. No robes. Bedding- thin mattress, v. Thin top cover. Tinned fruit salad at breakfast. This is not a budget hotel but it’s being treated as such by the owners.

Very confusing which seating was hotel and Cappuccino resulting in being moved. Rooms quite basic
