Great Wolf Lodge Kansas City

The experience was amazing!!!

Great experience overall!

Cons: Since you are paying a steep price already just to stay, and everything extra is so high, paying $15 a day to park at your hotel is extreme. The room was totally dated. The fridge only had freezer mode so everything froze. The imperfections on the walls and corners were not fixed, they just tried to cover it up. The floors around the hotel were uneven and would sink in when stepping on them. Ankle sprain for sure. The marketplace never had anyoneone working at it. We stood there for 15 mins and finally just scanned our stuff behind the Till and bought our stuff. Nobody could charge anything to the room with the wrist band which was supposed to be a perk. Pros: food was good. Waterpark was nice all around. They even monitored the adult only hottub. Kicked minors out. Arcade was descent. Employees were wonderful. Waterpark does close to early. We didnt get back from our daily events till 7:30 or 8:00 sometimes, and couldnt use the Waterpark. Arcade was open 24 hrs which was nice for the adult kids. You can hear running and jumping above you, but luckily we are not fun haters and so it didnt bother us.

My niece had a blast and that is what I am trying to keep my focus on cause there were so many unfortunate situations that made the experience less. Some of the staff was rude, especially in the coffee shop. Then we rent a cabana for $200 for the day expecting to be able to let my niece relax and not having to get up to go get drinks and food. Not the case. Not enough staffing so we have to wait in lines to get food. Then go to the pool bar only to find out we cant get anything except beer cause someone over 21 is not available. Then try to get a non alcoholic slush for my niece and still unable to get it. Go upstairs to the bar and their blender is broke. The frustration came because all occurrences happen within a 15 minute period. And the bracelet they give you so you don’t have to carry cash or card, well that never worked no matter how many times I told them. The water park itself was a blast. The building needs some updates. Putt putt golf was fun but it was so run down and truly just an awful course.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and met the needs for our trip.

I have a daughter with autism and it was perfect for her!!!

Over all experience was not good

Nice place, but you will be nickeled and dimed at every conceivable opportunity.

Not as clean as we were hoping for price and beds were reallu uncomfortable!!!

I like that all the kids were safe and having a good time. The environment was friendly and clean. I wish that things were more affordable. Everything is over priced
