Brook Farm Inn

The location is ideal and Maureen and her staff are lovely. Breakfast was very good and there are fresh flowers everywhere. The downside? Our room was in the attic, up a steep flight of stairs. We kept hitting our heads on the sloped ceiling. Granted, it was high season in the Berkshires, but I did expect a better room for the money.

Fabulous stay, team was so great. Breakfast was delicious!

Wonderful stay. Quiet, relaxing. Good breakfast . The hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool was refreshing 🤗

First, the staff was uniformly helpful, friendly, upbeat, and accommodating; all other things being equal, that's always huge for us. Beyond that, we enjoyed our quirky room, once we figured out how to make the ventilation work for us (although I'd be a bit concerned about staying during a heat wave, as our room was right under the roof). The bed was comfortable, and the en suite bathroom was both well-equipped and well arranged. We enjoyed the breakfast, too—definitely well above what some B&B's offer. Framed vintage posters/playbills from area cultural spots (Tanglewood, Clark Institute) add a nice dash of local flavor.

Minor quibbles: 1. We'd have preferred slightly less cluttered/Victorian decor. Not a deal-breaker, though; we'd definitely come again. 2. Stairs to the third floor are steep.

Breakfast was nice but our room was crooked. We kept listing into a dip in the room. I guess character counts with an old inn but in a word, it was ‘meh’.

Loved everything, the host, food, comfy bed, lovely house, great location close to center of Lenox but far enough so it feels countryside.

What I really hated was the huge big red exit light at the porch door on our bedroom. It kept me from sleeping. Something needs to be done about that. It belongs in a cinema or so but not in a bedroom.

Very comfortable, and our hosts were very welcoming! We had the King suite with a porch, which was private, and cozy!

Everything was exceptional, my ONLY recommendation would be to install a ceiling fan to circulate the air. Was not chilly enough for the gas fireplace. We were a tad hot, but the remote for the A.C. unit was not in the room.

The owner and staff were very nice. Breakfast was very good. The owner/manager gave us a choice of rooms when we arrived.

The second flight of stairs up to to our room were a bit steeper than we expected. After a full day of dancing it was a bit much. Not the fault of the inn, but it was at the bottom of a hill, so wasn't as close to downtown as it looked on a flat map.
